Remember the tiny bottles of colored sand you made at the state fairs years ago ( or last summer)? Welcome to Sand Art 2.0! The This is Sand site allows you to create much larger masterpieces -- no bottles needed!
You choose the color (click the little box in the upper left corner) and then start pouring. If you're really creative, you can create works of art like this. Or you can end up with a bunch of layers of different colors of sand all stacked on top of one another -- like mine.
